We are proudly partnering with Mutual Aid Tompkins to provide non-perishable food donations for those in need. To ensure the safety and quality of the items we distribute, we kindly ask that you do not donate the following:
Prohibited Items
Perishable Foods – We can only accept items that can be safely stored without refrigeration (e.g., no dairy, meat, or fresh fruits).
Expired Products – Please check expiration dates to ensure the food is still safe for consumption.
Opened Packages – Only sealed, unopened items can be accepted for the safety of our community.
Glass Containers – These are fragile and can pose a safety risk, so please donate items in sturdier packaging.
Alcohol – We are unable to accept any items containing alcohol.
Prepared Foods – Unfortunately, we cannot accept homemade meals or cooked food.
Frozen Foods – As we are unable to store frozen items, we ask that you refrain from donating them.
Bulk Items Without Packaging – Please ensure items like rice, beans, or grains are in sealed, retail packaging for safe handling.
We truly appreciate your generosity and support. Your donations make a meaningful difference in our community, and we’re grateful for your partnership in helping those in need!
